Identification Card Without Appearing
The Driver License Division will mail a one-time free identification card to you when you are no longer qualified for a driver license for failure to meet the requirements in UCA 53-3-304 or if you make a personal decision to discontinue driving and voluntarily surrender your driver license permanently.
To be eligible, you must have a regular Utah driver license with current identity information, a photo was taken in the last eight (8) years, and your license status is not suspended or revoked.
