If you are interested in applying to be a part of the CDL third-party tester program, complete these steps:
- Step 1: Read administrative rule R708-21.
- Step 2: Contact our CDL section at 801.965.4125 to obtain and submit the required application packet. Once submitted, it may take up to 60 days to review the application packet for accuracy and provide any necessary feedback for changes.
- Step 3: Attend a certification course. SLCC maintains the waiting list and charges its own fee for the certification course. To inquire about the course, you can contact SLCC during regular business hours at 801.957.2266 or 801.957.2265.
