Third-party testers are essential in the commercial driver license (CDL) program for the state of Utah. If you are interested in applying to be a part of the program, complete these steps:
- Step 1: Read administrative rule R708-21
- Step 2: Submit the Application Packet
- Step 3: Attend a certification course
Certification Course
SLCC maintains the waiting list and charges its own fee for the certification course. To inquire about the course, you can contact SLCC during regular business hours at 801.957.2266 or 801.957.2265.
To apply, return your application packet to a Driver License Division CDL Program Coordinator listed below. It may take 60 days to review the application packet for accuracy and provide any feedback for changes if necessary.
