In Utah, you are required to have a driver license to drive a moped.
Endorsement Not Required
In Utah, you can drive a moped without an endorsement.

Utah code regulating motor-driven cycles - UCA 41-6a-102.
This is a motorcycle that:
- Has pedals that permit human propulsion and a motor that produces not more than two brake horsepower.
- The motor cannot propel the cycle at a speed over 30 MPH on level ground.
- If an internal combustion engine is used, the displacement may not exceed 50 cubic centimeters.
- Must have a power drive system that functions directly or automatically without clutching or shifting by the rider after the drive system is engaged.
- Cannot operate on sidewalks or public roads with four or more lanes designated for regular traffic.
- Should ride close to the right side of the roadway.
A moped does not include a:
- Motor-assisted scooter
- Electric-assisted bicycle
- E-mobility device
