Reinstate a License
If your driving privilege has been suspended, denied, or revoked for multiple reasons you will be required to pay a separate reinstatement fee for each department action (citation.)
Examples:
- If you have been suspended for too many points on your driving record you will be required to pay a $40.00 reinstatement fee.
- If you have a no insurance conviction you will be required to carry an SR 22 insurance policy and pay a $40.00 reinstatement fee.
- If you have received a ticket and you failed to appear in court (FTA), you will be required to pay the court fees, bring in a court docket showing the FTS was cleared, and pay a $40.00 reinstatement fee.
- For an alcohol/drug-related offense there is an $85.00 reinstatement fee, plus an additional administrative fee of $255.00. Fees depend on the sanctions taken against the record.
Additional testing and licensing fees may be required depending on driving record.
