What you need to know

Multiple (at least two) appointments at a DLD office are required to get your DPC
May need additional visits if you fail any tests or your documents aren't complete/correct
1st appointment: take written test & get permit
You are required to test in English

What you need to do

    • SAVE TIME : make appointment
  2. Gather your documents - must bring to appointment

  3. At your appointment

    • Have your confirmation number ready to check-in
    • Have photo taken
    • Present documents
    • Pass eye test
    • Pay non-refundable fingerprint processing fee of $25.00
    • Pay non-refundable fee of $32.00
    • Have parent/guardian sign for you if 17 and under
    • Take the 25-question open-book written knowledge test - required to test in English
