What you need to know
- Replacement license: the expiration date of the new license will be the same as your current license.
- If your license expires in the next six (6) months, you are eligible to renew it.

Lost or stolen
You may want to file a police report if your license has been stolen.
If you have a police report, bring it with you.
If your license was lost, bring something with your name on it to the office.

Bring required documents proving name and/or address change, if applicable

Gather your documents - must bring to appointment
- Bring your current license (if it isn't lost or stolen) or something with your name on it
- Has your address changed? If yes, bring two documents showing proof of your new address OR update your address online before your appointment
- Has your name changed? If yes, bring proof of your name change
At your appointment
- Have confirmation # ready to check-in
- Get photo taken
- Show documents (if address or name has changed)
- Pass eye test
- Pay non-refundable fee of $23

When do I get my license?
- A temporary license with a photo will be issued on the same day.
- The completed limited-term will have an expiration date of your legal presence document or five (5) years, whichever is sooner; or 1-year from the date of issuance if there is no expiration date, and will be mailed to you in approximately 6-8 weeks.
